The casting decision will incite tension between the two friends.

New photos show the audition for Rachel's understudy, as well as Artie and Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) battling it out for valedictorian honors. You can check out the photos here.

The synopsis for the upcoming episode reads: "Rachel will face off with Santana. Kurt is going head-to-head with Elliott. And Tina will be feuding with her ex-boyfriend, Artie."

TVLine also confirms that rumors about season five having only 19 episodes are false; the current season will have 22 episodes.

Fox chief Kevin Reilly told reporters at the Television Critics Association winter press tour last month that not all of the McKinley students will move to NYC.

"Creatively, it would ridiculous if everybody moves to New York," said Reilly. "This season, there's going to be a graduation [from Lima's William McKinley High]. Several of the cast members will move on, and a few others will go to New York."

While some McKinley High students will fade into the background, Sue Sylvester will move to NYC along with her former students.

"As long as there's a show, there's Jane," Reilly said.

He said the characters who do not move to New York "will arc back in when we do special episodes. They'll always be a part of it. The way it's going to dovetail next season, we're going to see some familiar faces coming around in some capacity."

"We do have [the show] through next season and that will be the final season," Reilly continued. "[Ryan's] got some fantastic ideas on what we're going to next year for the final year."

TVLine confirmed that Dianna Agron, a.k.a Quinn Fabray, will be returning for the 100th episode in addition to Riley, as well as Heather Morris, Mark Salling and Harry Shum.

"Glee" will return for episode nine of its fifth season on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.

Glee is going glam in an upcoming episode, with Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Starchild's (Adam Lambert) rockin' duet. So we get to see these two adorable guys both decked out in leather? Yes, please.

We don't know the exact nature of their relationship, but there's no question that Kurt and Starchild are getting quite close on Glee. The two pals are set to perform a duet together during Season 5, Episode 14: "New New York."

On February 8, Adam posted a photo (above) of himself and Chris giving their best rocker poses on the show's set. "@chriscolfer and I bringin' a little glam to @GLEEonFOX last night," Adam captions the pic. Gotta love Chris whaling away on the air guitar!

And Glee choreographer Brooke Lipton added a pic (at right) on Twitter of herself with the gents. "Oh yes.... It's a Fraturday #GLEE @chriscolfer @adamlambert," she captions it.

So which tune will they be harmonizing on in the episode? Well, rumor has it that they'll be performing a duet of A Great Big World's peppy tune, "Rockstar." Kurt and Starchild will also be duetting in Season 5, Episode 9: "Frenemies" with The Darkness's "I Believe in a Thing Called Love."

But fear not, Klaine fans, as Kurt and Blaine (Darren Criss) should be getting plenty of screentime in Episode 14 as well. Klaine is said to be performing a sure-to-be-priceless duet of the Frank Sinatra tune, "You Make Me Feel So Young." Talk about swoon-worthy.

Are you looking forward to the Starkurt songs? And do you think anything will happen romantically between Kurt and Starchild?

Frenemies 2With the return of “Glee” Tuesday night creeping ever closer, now is the time that Fox is being so kind as to starting to release some of the first little photo previews as to what to expect.

After a few pretty-weak teasers, it does eel now like the
